As another year gently draws to a close, I always feel the pull to pause — not to make big resolutions or hustle harder, but to listen quietly.
What do I want my next season of life to feel like?
What do I want to release, and what do I want to call in?
That’s what this post is all about — setting gentle, heart-led intentions for 2026.
I’ve also created a free printable Intention-Setting Worksheet you can download below to help you reflect and write your own new beginnings.

Set Your 2026 Intentions Mindfully 🌿 Why “Intentions,” Not Resolutions?
Resolutions can feel heavy — a list of “shoulds” and “musts” that quickly fade by February.
Intentions, on the other hand, are rooted in awareness. They guide your energy rather than your to-do list.
Intentions don’t demand perfection — they invite presence.
They say: I am ready to align with what feels true.
How to Set Your 2026 Intentions
Here’s a simple, mindful way to begin — and you can use your free worksheet as you go.

1. Find a quiet space
Light a candle, make a warm drink, and sit somewhere that feels safe and cozy.
Let your thoughts soften before you begin writing.
2. Reflect on 2025
Ask yourself:
- What moments felt aligned this year?
- What drained my energy?
- What am I proud of?
This gentle reflection clears emotional space for what comes next.
3. Let go of what you don’t need
We often carry habits, beliefs, and worries that no longer serve us.
Write them down under “What I’m Letting Go Of” on your worksheet.
This is your energetic clean slate.
4. Call in what you desire
Next, under “What I’m Calling In,” write what you want to cultivate — peace, creativity, courage, joy, connection.
Think of how you want your days to feel more than what you want to achieve.
5. Choose your “Word of the Year”
Your word becomes a compass — a reminder of how you want to move through life.
Examples: trust, growth, softness, creativity, abundance.
6. Anchor it with daily rituals
Small rituals bring intentions into your everyday life.
Add ideas to the section “Daily Rituals to Stay Aligned” — things like morning journaling, mindful walks, gratitude writing, or weekly rest days.

✨ A Note from Me
We don’t need to rush into the new year with a list of promises — we can walk softly into it with awareness.
Setting intentions is not about control.
It’s about clarity, alignment, and giving your energy a direction.
So light that candle, pour some tea, and let your heart decide what 2026 is asking from you. 🌙
